Deciding to stop SMOKING

Make up your mind and just quit smoking.- AP photo

HOW are you doing so far in your effort to stop smoking? You have learned four important positioning steps to make you a Cigarette Slayer.

Remember, if you desire a Cigarette Slayer profile from a position of weakness, ie focusing on the lack of ability to quit, you are focusing on the absence of the Cigarette Slayer. That’s the truth.

Millions of smokers have stopped smoking. Your journey to quit is like jumping off a diving board into the swimming pool. All your internal resistance will discourage you to take that plunge. The whole thought of jumping off the board seems life threatening at first.

Step five: Start instead of stop – change your thinking paradigms

Some basic instruction is needed to guide a smoker to quit. That is why I am writing to give you confidence to take that plunge.

You must realise that your cigarette habit is not bigger than you. By using a systematic and logical approach, you can achieve this breakthrough that you had earlier thought was difficult.

You must cut all the debate out of your mind. Hanging onto a weak position or not deciding to do something actually results in a decision!

It may be that you are still having mixed feelings and thoughts about being a Cigarette Slayer. Carrying around this internal debate may result in increased distress and discomfort.

Make a final decision now! It will help you ease this debate and relieve you of all the cumbersome thoughts of failure even before you give best effort. It’s your life now and in the future. Act wisely.

What you must do now

Here is the vital “secret” to quitting smoking. Are you ready to receive it? Most smokers, when they want to quit, feel like they must do something “amazing” and sacrifice to achieve the quit results. Here is the amazing secret that you can implement right away.

If you are not smoking right now, then just prolong this way of being and thinking till the day you die. Yes! It’s that simple.

Don’t complicate your thoughts about needing a fix, a product or service to make it work.

Instead of dwelling on your stop smoking efforts, why don’t you just start your non-smoker’s life? Get a clear vision of your mission to be the Cigarette Slayer and keep at it.
